SERVICES - In Vitro Human Primary Cell Cytotoxicity
In vitro testing using primary cells can quickly screen for new chemical entities with serious toxicology consequences. Using primary cells derived from human tissues, the relative risk can be determined in multiple organs over a population of donors.

In vitro cytotoxicity assays using necrotic and apoptotic endpoints have been developed in our laboratory using human primary cells such as hepatocytes (hepatotoxicity), kidney proximal tubule epithelial cells (nephrotoxicity), astrocytes (neurotoxicity), endothelial cells (vascular toxicity), and airway epithelial cells (pulmonary toxicity).

New chemical entities can be screened in single or multiple organ toxicity studies. With IdMOC technology which allows the culturing of cells from multiple organs in the same culture dish, organ-specific toxicity can be simultaneously studied using this system. By coupling normal cell line with various cancer cell lines in IdMOC plates, in vitro models of tumor-bearing man are possible.

Results will be available to you within weeks from study initiation. Contact us to obtain a sample protocol and pricing.
